Spiritual Life Conference
April 4-7, 2010 with Dr. Charles Shoemaker.  Dr. Shoemaker serves as the President of Trinity Baptist College and the Administrative Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church. He is a native of the Chicago area and was converted to Christ at the early age of eight through the bus and AWANA ministries. After completing high school, Dr. Shoemaker attended and graduated from the Institute of Biblical Studies of Liberty University, earning a diploma in Bible. He also has earned a Bachelor’s degree (B.R.E.) in Pastoral Theology, a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Biblical Studies, and a Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.) from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Shoemaker has been in full-time ministry since 1975, having served as a church planter and senior pastor. He joined the staff of Trinity Baptist Church and College in July 1995. An often requested speaker in churches and conferences, he has traveled to all fifty states and several foreign countries.

Missions Conference

Couples Retreat
This years featured speaker was Dr. Charles Shoemaker of Jacksonville, FL.  We had a great time and are already looking forward to next year's retreat, which will be November 11-13, 2010.

Ladies Bible Study 
Ladies Bible Study meets each Thursday at 9:30 AM in Room 1.  Have you ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seem overpowering?  If life feels tough for you, then join us for Ladies' Bible Study each Thursday.  Beth Moore will lead us through the life of Esther showing us how applicable her life and story is to us in our present age.  A nursery is provided.  Call the church office for more information.  

Ladies Night Out (LNO) 
A Quarterly meeting for all ladies to get together for a little food, fun, and Christian fellowship.  Our next meeting will be April 19 at 6:30 PM in the Family Life Center.

Ladies Retreat
It’s hard to believe that 10 years ago about 20 of us met at MainStay Suites in Pigeon Forge, TN for our first annual ladies’ retreat. We are certainly blessed to be celebrating 10 years of “retreating” this year, March 11-13, in the same place. I invite you to join us as we reflect on past and present blessings God has given us. Come and bring your friends, and you will certainly Be Blessed ~~~Joy.

We are blessed to have Sharon Shoemaker come share her heart with us again this year. She has spoken to us many times, and we are looking forward not only to the laughter that she brings but also the Word of God which she so simply demonstrates to us. She is married to Dr. Charles Shoemaker, president of Trinity Baptist College. She has two daughters, Amy and Emily; and four grandchildren, Charles, Daniel, Michaela, and Sophia. She is a great mother, and is endeared to her grandchildren who lovingly call her Grammy.
