Children's Ministry

Bible Baptist believes in the spiritual growth of children by training and teaching them to serve Christ. We disciple the children with programs geared to reach all age groups. Click here to visit our children's ministry blog.

Family Fall Fest - Saturday, October 31 we had a gym full of fun and old-time carnival style games. Children and their parents competed for a grand prize of candy and more candy. Click here to see a slide show of the evenings activities.

"A New Life" - The Children's Ministry Annual Easter play representing the resurrection of Christ was presented April 11 at 12 noon. We had over one hundred guests come see their children reenact the life of Christ.

Bus Ministry - The mission of the bus ministry is to reach families with the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing transportation for children and adults in our community. Our bus routes stretch throughout Hendersonville and parts of Sumner County. For a ride, call 615-824-0042.

   Junior Church - Offered each Sunday at 10 AM to all children K3-5th grade. While parents enjoy the Sunday morning worship service, children are involved in an exciting program designed to teach God's Word. Once a month we will take the children to the gym after the morning service for SMILE Time. Activities include paper airplanes, watermelon seeds, water balloons, and ice cream sundaes. Parents are always welcome to join the fun.

Acorns to Oak Trees is a discipleship program that allows 1st through 5th grade children to concentrate on the basics of the Christian life. Upon completion each child is awarded a trophy in children's church and a certificate of completion in "big church" by Pastor Crockett.


Master Clubs- is an exciting weekly club program for kids especially designed to teach children how they can serve God now. Our goal is to teach kids to serve God during every stage of life. We accomplish this with club time full of Bible instruction, Scripture memory, games, and awards. Master Clubs meets each Wednesday during the school year at 6:45 PM.


Vacation Bible School - Annual event that offers Bible Teaching, Recreation, Crafts, and Mission Awareness. There are Bible memory and attendance competitions with a special prize to the child who brings the most visitors with them to VBS.  This year we had seventeen children saved at VBS.

Summer Camp - Annual retreat for all elementary age children. Summer camp is a time to have fun, be silly, get wet, and learn about our Lord and Savior. They will be cared for, challenged, and changed. This year's summer camp was June 14-18 at Ft. Bluff

There is nothing more precious than a child's smile. The innocence they carry deep within is shown on their faces from their gigles to their uncontrollable laughter. Smile Time is a time for all children in our ministry to gather together once a month to have a great time together. Smile Time will allow children to play hand in hand with each other as they grow up together both physically and spiritually.

All 5-year-olds through 5th graders are invited. Smile Time activities will begin immediately after the AM service and will last about a half hour.
